Our History
Breeze & Wyles Solictors LLP can trace its history back for over 90 years. The firm of Breeze and Wyles was first established as a small family practice in 1914 in Bow, East London. Since then the Firm expanded steadily and now has four offices stretching from Enfield in North London into Hertfordshire and employs over 130 people. Until recently it was still primarily a High Street general practice, but has now, through careful planned growth, formed specialist departments, each of which have been developed to improve the quality of the services offered to individual and business clients.
Sadly following the retirement and subsequent death of Douglas E. Breeze, neither a Mr. Breeze nor a Mr. Wyles remains in the practice with the firm.
In 2003, in response to the needs of our clients, breezeplus+ was launched. It provides innovative solutions for lending institutions, businesses and housing associations, including secure on-line details of how matters that we deal with on behalf of our clients are progressing. The firm converted to a limited Liability Partnership and became Breeze & Wyles Solicitors LLP on 1st October 2008. This will allow us to be more flexible to meet the modern demands of our clients, yet maintaining the traditions of the old firm. The LLP will continue to strive to improve the services offered to clients using new technology to meet the ever demanding requirements of the modern world.
